Static closed chamber flare
- Partially visible flame flare
- Made of AISI304 stainless steel
- Does not require power supply
This is the simplest and most economical solution for burning landfill biogas safely and when gas combustion emissions are not subject to specific regulations. It is connected to the delivery network for biogas from capture wells and is also fitted with an inlet condensate separator-discharge unit.
It is indicated when reclaiming old landfills or ensuring the safety of new landfill where biogas production capacity is limited because of low waste disposal levels and where electricity is not available to power various items of equipment.
The stainless-steel burner located inside the combustion chamber is equipped with a safety flame arrester.
The automatic ignition system comprises a transformer and igniter, fitted near the burner, with battery power supply in the command-and-control logic panel. It can be equipped with a thermocouple for combustion temperature detection.
Battery charge status can be maintained by installing an appropriately dimensioned photovoltaic system supplying the electricity required.
The manual cut-off valve can be replaced with a servo-controlled valve with automatic closing controlled by the thermocouple if the flare goes off.
